Since I have turned my camera to nature I have been more aware of it's beauty. I have always looked at the details and admired it's beauty. But zooming in even closer has given me more awareness and well I guess peacefulness. Now I am really glad I planted the wildflower garden this year.

Getting back my Inspiration
Happy Fence Friday.
I can't believe it's been two weeks since I've posted. Life got more than busy. It's hard to pick up the camera when 'life' takes over. During the past two weeks I felt as though all the leaves were turning colors too fast and would fall off the trees before I got out with my camera. I'm also feeling very frustrated with my monitor. It's dark and I feel like I am guessing when using photoshop. I don't know for sure what my photos really look like until I go and look at them on the mac. I need to get my mojo back as it was trying to hibernate.....

October Fair
Oak
The Oak Tree
by Johnny Ray Ryder Jr.
A mighty wind blew night and day.
It stole the Oak Tree's leaves away.
Then snapped its boughs
and pulled its bark
until the Oak was tired and stark.
But still the Oak Tree held its ground
while other trees fell all around.
The weary wind gave up and spoke,
"How can you still be standing Oak?"
The Oak Tree said, I know that you
can break each branch of mine in two,
carry every leaf away,
shake my limbs and make me sway.
But I have roots stretched in the earth,
growing stronger since my birth.
You'll never touch them, for you see
they are the deepest part of me.
Until today, I wasn't sure
of just how much I could endure.
But now I've found with thanks to you,
I'm stronger than I ever knew.

Nature Walk
Yesterday I took a nature walk with my middle child. We went to a state park with cameras in hand. Throughout the park sculptures were set up. My daughter, almost 10, had a great time. She took a lot of photos and enjoyed seeing the sculptures.
